Who do I contact with a question on rule interpretation(s)?

Sean McManemy is our resident interpreter.  Sean can be reached via e-mail at spmc2@yahoo.com.  Word has it, Sean can interpret in fourteen different languages!

Where can I find an official for a game at my school/for my organization/otherwise?

Chester Graham is our Assigning specialist!  He can help you with questions on availability and costs, and can assign referees with appropriate experience to your basketball event. You may reach Chester at bballref@csolve.net, or by telephone at 526-6104.  Referee inquiries only please!

How do I become involved with the Barrie and District Association of Basketball Officials?

Great!  So, you would like to become part of our organization!  We certainly welcome newcomers, regardless of age, experience, gender, or hair colour!  Getting involved with the BDABO is a relaxed process, free of undue pressure.  We'll assess your skills, answer questions, and point you in the right direction.  Before you know it, you'll be officiating with Jerry Goodeill , our president!  To hear more about the BDABO's structure, and for information on getting involved, please contact Bill McAleer at refsrus@sympatico.ca.  Bill will be glad to hear from you!

The next meeting of the BDABO will be on Sunday 29, April 2012 at 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm sharp at Wasaga Beach Municipal Offices.
